. 4 flown to hospital after motor cycle crashes
Four people were flown to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland after two unrelated motor
cycle crashes Sunday in Lake County . Thomas Randolph, 36 of Mentor-on-the-Lake, was in critical condition Monday night. Randolph's
motorcycle went off the right side of Werner Road in Madison Township and rolled four or five times, police said. His passenger
- Lorie Randolph, 34, of Eastlake was treated and released. Dwayne L. Walters and Kara . Landenberger
were injured during the Louie Run, an annual gathering in Lake County of motorcyclists.Walters,29,of Cleveland Hts, was
on the exit ramp from route 44 to route 84 in Concord Township when he lost conctrol of his bike, Lake County Sheriff's
Capt. Lonnie Sparkmen said. He had trouble shifting and accidentally popped a wheelie, Concord Fire Chief R. Mike Warner
said. The bike flipped backwards and stuck Walters in the face knocking him unconscious. Walters was revived by another motorcyclist.
Landenberger, 27, of Cleveland Hts was his passenger and owner of the bike. She said she had abdominal pain after the crash.
Both were flown to MetroHealth as a precautionare measure. They were treated and released. None of the four who were hospitalized
were wearing helmets.
